Within half an hours drive of your holiday cottage there are plenty of things to see and do.
A must see for many will be the famous Italiante village of Portmeirion, only a 15 minute drive away. Here you can wander the lovely gardens, browse in the shops or enjoy a fabulous meal in the Hotel at the waters edge.
Some of Wales’ premier activities such as Zip World, bounce below and Surf Snowdonia are with easy reach and can be combined with a visit to Blaenau Ffestiniog and Betws y Coed.

The Rabbit Farm at nearby Llanystumdwy is always a great hit with younger children, the excellent Lloyd George museum is also located nearby and there is a lovely family walk up the river past his grave. For the older children and teenagers there is a great activity centre just outside Llanystumdwy at Talhenbont Hall. Also great fun for the whole family is a visit to Glasfryn Parc, there are plenty of activities for everyone here, go-karting, quad biking or bowling.
